When sourcing our materials we insist on hard-wearing fabric produced under conditions respecting the environment. Therefore – and against usual “modern” business trends - we buy many basic materials in Germany as opposed to getting cheap substitutes elsewhere.
Our garments are meant to give joy and satisfaction even after much washing. Anything ready to be thrown out after the first wash has never been worth its price – even if it was very cheap it comes costly for your bank account and also for the environment. Some people won’t agree with that but we won’t budge an inch in that point: This kind of cheap is not an acceptable option for ourselves and our customers.
All our materials are thoroughly tested before being used. We prefer natural fibres but we also like using some elastic material and several modern skin-friendly synthetics.
Of course it’s up to yourself to decide if you like your jeans ironed or you prefer a loose and comfortable style. In any case we try to keep everything as easy-care as possible.
Especially for people with disabilities easy maintenance is important. On the other hand a real easy-care product is made of synthetic material. So you will have to decide if you opt for that.
Anyway we have succeeded in producing jeans that look good even without ironing. Our tip: Turn inside out for washing and then tumble dry before wearing again. In this case you won’t need to iron at all.
